Aimee Cook, arguably the most talented baby photographer in Bathurst NSW, approached me as a referral of one of our loyal clients.
Her site had been hacked. And it wasn’t pretty. Worst of all, it wasn’t usable or able to be updated as the theme and software versions she had spent months getting ‘just so’ were no longer able to be tweaked without breaking the site.
We tried tirelessly to resurrect it, we had the hacked site repaired and were able to salvage all her beautiful content. But the site itself was still unstable, and unmanageable.
It was a difficult call, but together we made the decision that a full rebuild was necessary, she had already fallen off the Google index so we needed to work fast to get her up and running.
Because her content was relatively intact, it suited the Live By 5 model well. We worked remotely on this one, but got the site back up and running and looking beautiful within the time allocated to our Live by 5 service.
The result has meant she’s back up and running, her site is indexing well in Google and it’s so much easier for her to manage.
I cannot recommend Live by 5 highly enough. Cath was able to talk me through everything step by step in a way I understood and created a beautiful, functional website for my business after my pervious platform and web host left me stranded.Aimee Cook
The best part is I now know that my website will be updated, backed up and totally taken care of without me having to go in and manually do it myself.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Aimee on this one and are delighted to be able to continue helping her via our Maintainance service so she can stop worrying about her website and get back to what she does best.
Live by 5 included customisations:
- Font, colour, branding and spacial customisation of the Gallery Pro Theme on the Genesis Framework
- Customisation of the homepage more suitable to Aimee’s content
- Customisation of the archive layouts
- Repositioning of the Social Icons
- Importing of old blog from hacked site
